If no one ever notices the thousands upon thousands of chores I have done; I will have done them. In honor of and service to my family, I will have made my offering.
If no one ever senses the evolution of mindfulness that is taking place within my head; I will have cultivated and allowed it. My single contribution toward ending suffering will have been offered.
If no one values what I have to offer; thats none of my business. My business is to be true to myself and offer what I can. It doesnt matter what the outcome is; I'm not in charge of that. The universe reads, notices and senses everything. As a vessel of the universe my job is to be available to receive and deliver whatever is dropped into me. My job is to remain unconcerned about the" visible and measurable" outcomes of my offerings. My opportunity is to remain confident in doing what I am inspired to do no matter how much I may be tempted to minimize the importance of doing it. I know for sure that as I allow it, the universe provides a much bigger role for me than I can conjure up for myself.
If we, as a Kula (community of the heart), are willing to make whatever offerings we have, without concern of how we will be received and valued, our community will be abundantly blessed in myriad ways.....we will all play bigger and more satisfying roles in this endeavor than we could have ever conjured up for ourselves.
